Down the road and part of the defense of Pensacola

This fort had many flags Spanish, French, British, Confederate and American.

When you walk around the Fort and look at the gun ports you have to wonder how anybody could attack them and live.

This is the Water Battery. There is only one passage to and from the Fort.

Views of Fort Pickens and the site of Fort McRee across the bay.

There is a lot of brickwork and it's fun to see how much and the beauty of it all. This down the road from the Naval Air Museum.
